PFOC Gives Back

Making Life Better for Our Communities

Our goal is to help make life better for our community by supporting local animal shelters, holding food and coat drives for the county and supporting organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association (Southwestern Wisconsin Chapter). Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs to improve the lives of millions of affected people.

Back in 2007, we turned our collective passion into action. Since that time, PFOC's Alzheimer's Walking Team "Movers & Shakers" and local community partners have raised over $250,000 to benefit the Alzheimer's Association and their programs.

Support the Cause

We invite you to join our cause by walking with us, donating, or simply by following our Facebook page to stay up to date with our events and activities. We are an open team—anyone can join us! Every year, we offer a virtual walker option, for those that are not local. 100% of the proceeds we raise are given directly to the Alzheimer's Association. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

Together, we can end Alzheimers.

AcuRite's Social Responsibility

Supporting Community Responders & Budding Meteorologists

Making a difference and being connected to the world around us is a huge piece of who we are, and we are happy to do our part. AcuRite gives back to the community and other organizations by providing school weather stations to students, emergency weather stations to volunteer firefighters and the American Red Cross, and contributing to other projects for the environment. We’re also donating 20% of merchandise sales to the National Weather Association Foundation to fund the next generation of meteorologists.
